Good afternoon racers,
Following our Race Council meeting yesterday, an amended NOR and SI have been published to accommodate the possibility of a two race day as a make-up race for Race 2 being abandoned. Note, RC will attempt to run an extra race however no guarantees. Despite the horrendous weather upon us at the moment, forecast is less than encouraging for the weekend, but we will try to accommodate.
Sunday is still intended to be a pursuit race as has been previously. Courses are being rewritten and set to give the RC team some more options to make a day of it.
We have a great band at the club and Chef Shawn has put together a special menu for the racers including mac'n'cheese, smash burgers and similar cold weather munchies.
Provided the RC team don't have 80% of the fleet finish within 2 1/2 minutes of each other, daily trophies should be a little earlier this time!
