CYC Midwinters LXXIV is here and the journey to Valhalla is about to start. With the wind and tide forecast, it might be a long voyage so pack wisely and think light-weight thoughts.
Coffee and some fresh made pastries, from CYC's pastry chef, will be available in the morning.
Share some tall tales at the fire-pit on the lower deck once you raft up. Awaiting at the dock will be some complementary pizza bites and beer with $6 dark and stormy's available at the bar. Chef is also preparing a $10 races special hotdog 'n' chili to enjoy after the race.
Don't miss the party. The rockin' band kicks off at 4pm and extra TV's are ready for the 49er's kick-off at 5pm.
If you're not at CYC, you may be a lost soul -Valhalla is waiting!
Serious part: Skippers, be sure to register for the AEOTA team trophy. 3 boats in separate fleets registered from the same club are eligible. That's all it takes for bragging rights. That, and winning too.
Race Committee will meet you in the Knox area ready to go.
