Good morning Express 27 competitors,
Following the request for redress hearing yesterday, while the Protest Committee did not find the Race Committee acted improperly, the door was opened for the PRO to review the scoring. As the participating competitors in the Express 27 fleet expressed to the PRO that, despite a mark being absent in the course sailed, Skippers were satisfied that a fair race was run, the Race Committee is amending the scoring score Race 1 (January 20,2024) as part of the series and it will no longer scored as an abandoned race.
This change effects the Express 27 fleet only.
